Randy Buescher is a phenomenal voice teacher because he truly takes the time to evaluate where each student is at in their own vocal growth, and strives to help bring them to their most healthy and true sound. He specifically helped me find more freedom in my singing by vowel modifications and was extremely supportive throughout the entire process. He's extremely knowledgeable when it comes to vocal anatomy and taking care of your instrument, and he's all-around a great guy. I can't recommend him enough.

When I was a young performer, I was diagnosed with dysphonia, and the doctors sent me straight to Randy – within the year, I was singing better than I ever thought possible, and went on to have a solid musical theater career in Chicago. Now that I’m on the other side of the table, I’m constantly seeing Randy’s students in auditions, and their vocal quality is so noticeably pure, healthy, and a head above the rest.

I've studied with Randy since I was 14 years old. I would have never had made it on the show Nashville without his guidance.

While playing Elphaba in Chicago I was experiencing vocal difficulties. Randy was in the audience and recognized what the issue was. He helped me learn to mix belt and saved me.
Kristy Cates, Elphaba in Wicked (Broadway, Chicago and Toronto) August 9, 2016
Studying with Randy Buescher has given me the best techniques and exercises necessary for singing in a connected manner through all my registers. I use what I've learned with Randy before all my live and/or recorded singing performances. Through Randy's coaching, and his personal interest, guidance, and support, my singing career has developed to a much higher level. Randy's the best!

Moreover, 16-year-old Lauren Frost, who plays Dorothy, has a voice equaling that of Judy Garland, doing an especially moving job of singing Over the Rainbow.
Daily Southtown, June 21, 2001 August 9, 2016
As Dorothy, Lauren Frost leads a cast that remains true to the indelible film portrayals without ever slavishly imitating them. The 16-year-old Downers Grove native, who toured widely as the Young Barbra in Barbra Streisand's "Timeless" concerts--has an appealingly understated acting style, exquisite diction and a glorious voice--adept at both the lyrical and the jazzy--that leaves you wanting to hear more.

I've taught over 100 Grammy winners and 4 winners of the National Met Auditions how to use my Speech Level technique. I hardly ever recommend teachers, but I highly recommend Randy. He fully understands my technique and how to teach it to others, especially when it comes to putting together the bridges in an individual's voice.
Seth Riggs, Voice Teacher August 9, 2016
Randy's a great teacher, one of the best in the country today.
Tom McKinny, Teacher of Destiny's Child (Winner 1971 National Metropolitan Opera Contest, star of opera, musical theater and television) August 9, 2016
I've worked with Randy for a couple of years now and experienced marked improvement in vocal strength. I had been losing my voice regularly before I started, and nothing seemed to help. My voice didn't have the power or stamina that I required of it--working in a noisy environment, teaching classes and performing on my Public Television series. I haven't lost my voice in over a year now, and I've received an added perk: for the first time in my life I can really sing.
